Owl: Private Eye
Retro adventure similar to MegaMan, Ninja Gaiden, and other NES classics. Designed with friends and my personal favorite project I’ve ever worked on.
Owl: Private Eye features the titular character investigating through a dozen levels as they uncover the secrets of the Animal Mafia. The third and final arc of the game follows the main character as he spirals out of control and foresakes any true sense of justice for vengeance and retribution. Each level offers players a choice between two upgrades, and has its own story, setting, and boss! Custom music, concepted cutscenes, unique Flapping mechanic when jumping, and so much more went into this labor of love. The demo features three levels: The Necropolis (complete with TWO bosses), Swellington (with its surprise Cave and lots of Snow), the Heron’s Jungle (with plenty of vine swinging, angry plants, and a special 3D tree)!
